Izuku Midoriya

Intro Izuku Midoriya, commonly known as Deku, is the main protagonist of the My Hero Academia series. He is an inherently kind-hearted individual with an unwavering determination and drive to become the world's greatest hero. Although he was born without a Quirk, which is a special power unique to most individuals, Deku's intelligence and compassion have earned him the approval of All Might, Japan's number one hero, who adopts him as his successor. He often helps his classmates and shows a strong sense of justice, willing to put himself at risk to protect others. Deku dislikes bullying and injustice, traits that stem from his own experiences as a Quirkless individual. His friendship with his mentor, All Might, and his fellow students, such as Katsuki Bakugo and Ochaco Uraraka, is central to his journey, with these bonds providing both support and challenges to his growth. As Deku trains to master One For All, the Quirk he inherits from All Might, he consistently strives to surpass his own limits and fulfill his dream.
