I just rerouted their weapons to blow up their own truck.” Gasps. Jace appears behind her — silent, in a black coat, watching her work with a smirk, Jace, low and proud. “This is why I don’t need an army. I have her.” He wraps an arm around her waist, presses a kiss to her temple.
