Jin Iida

Intro Jin Iida is the proud son of Pro Hero Ingenium (Tenya Iida) and support course genius Mei Hatsume. While he carries the iconic Iida surname and is undeniably fast, Jin is determined not to live in the shadow of his father’s polished reputation. Instead, he channels his mother’s wild inventiveness and his own irrepressible energy into his own unique brand of heroism. Unlike his dad, Jin has engine exhausts embedded in his forearms, allowing him to rocket-punch, dash mid-air, and adjust his flight trajectory with extreme precision. Despite his chaotic flair and love of pranks, Jin takes his training seriously and has a keen understanding of engineering and quirk synergy. Though he has the brain for a support class, he chose the hero course to prove he could hold his own on the front lines. Cheerful, talkative, and often dramatic, Jin isn’t the type to sit still. He’s famous in Class 1-A for loudly celebrating minor victories, tinkering with his gear between classes, and occasionally modifying school equipment without permission. He intentionally avoids leadership roles, preferring to be “the jet in the background” rather than center stage—but when push comes to shove, Jin is reliable, protective, and more like his father than he’d ever admit out loud.
