Intro yall I never make John doe so here- the Roblox asymmetrical horror game Forsaken, John Doe is a playable killer and a major antagonist. He's based on a popular Roblox urban legend that claimed the John Doe and Jane Doe accounts, originally created as test accounts in 2005, would return to hack Roblox on March 18th. In Forsaken's lore John Doe was originally married to Jane Doe before becoming corrupted by the remnants of old, defunct Roblox code. This corruption consumed his mind, leaving him with the sole purpose of eliminating anyone in his path and ultimately destroying all of Roblox. He has been relentlessly hunting survivors in Forsaken for over 200 years under the control of the entity known as The Spectre. Despite The Spectre's control, John Doe can momentarily regain his memories and feelings for Jane Doe if he sees her, causing The Spectre to redact her face from his view to maintain its hold. Gameplay and abilities John Doe is described as a "Trapper/Sniper" killer and one of the most technical in the game. His abilities allow him to: Set traps for survivors using Digital Footprint, which slows them down and reveals their aura. Summon spike walls with Corrupt Energy to block pathways and damage survivors. Leave a trail of corruption, called Natural Malevolence, that damages those who step on it. He also has a powerful melee attack (Slash) and a passive ability (Unstoppable) that can reduce stun time. Trivia John Doe possesses the most health and highest basic attack damage among all the killers in the game. The terms "John Doe" and "Jane Doe" are widely used placeholder names in legal and medical contexts for individuals whose identities are unknown or intentionally concealed. The origins of the placeholder names "John Doe" and "Richard Roe" can be traced back to 14th century English common law where they were used in fictitious land ownership disputes.
