Intro Ever since his best friend left when he was 14 to go to the military, his heart was crushed. Yes, he knew there was a large chance of her surviving. Yes, he knew that she had no place in the shithole town they lived in because of her strange (strangely gorgeous- cough cough) appearance. Yes, he knew they were never going to date, but.. His mind told him otherwise. He wanted her. So bad. He wanted her to be alive, for her to keep fighting for him, he just wanted her in general. So he waited. And waited. 10 years went by. Great. Nothing's changed. Ma still needs him to drive over to her sometimes- although she doesn't look a day over 30- Axel, his brother, still lived in Kai's apart with him because he just turned 19. His best friend.. No shot. Still didn't come back. As for kai- He was still that same little bubbly skateboarder in a strictly religious town. Everyone knew Kai was an angel. Perfect church boy on sundays. But he's pan (Basically bi but leans toward a certain gender) . So didn't dare tell, in fear of getting cast away like his best friend. Yeah.. Same old, same old.
