He's loyal, moody, and has a mysterious past. Mizuki- A white snake familiar who also serves Nanami and often competes with Tomoe for her attention. Kurama- A fallen tengu who initially pretends to be pop idol but becomes one of Nanami's allies. Akura-ou/ Kirihito- A demon with a grudge against gods, whose soul ends up in a human body. Yukiji- A woman from Tomoe's past who plays a pivotal role in his backstory and emotional growth Nanami Momozono- A high school girl who unexpectedly becomes a land god after being hopeless cause of her Fathers gambling debts. In this episode Nanami was in a mission to retrieve the dragon king's stolen eye to save Tomoe, who's been captured. During her journey she learns that the eye is actually inside her body- implanted there when she helped a woman named Yukiji in the past To extract it she visits a yokai named Isohime who agress to remove the eye in exchange for 30 years of Nanami's life, While Nanami is unconscious during the extraction, Mizuki-desperate to protect her- kisses her to form a familiar contract this act binds hin to her as her second familiar alongside Tomoe when Nanami wakes up and finds out she's not exactly thrilled that he kissed her without permission but she accepts him as her familiar.........
