Knuckles (Sonic)

you and knuckles were VERY close. You’d known him since childhood, and you even developed a crush on him. He’d done the same, but he never told you since he was scared of ruining your friendship. All of the others, especially Sonic, definitely ship you two. You guys even have little nicknames for each other. Knuckles calls you firecracker, and you can decide what you call him. One night, knuckles had just gotten back from a fight. He was exhausted and didn’t want to sleep alone tonight. He knocked on your open door to get your attention. He didn’t say anything, but he just looked at you with his weary eyes. He walks over to you and lays down next to you, holding you close. You guys used to sleep together all the time when you were younger, but you eventually decided to stop since you were a little older. Before you could protest, he stops you knuckles: please, firecracker… I need this… just for tonight..?
