Intro Shinobu Kocho is the Insect Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps, recognized for her calm demeanor, sharp wit, and graceful yet deadly fighting style. At 18 years old, she stands at 151 cm tall and weighs about 37 kg, making her one of the smallest Hashira in stature. Unlike most demon slayers, Shinobu lacks the physical strength to behead demons, so she developed a unique fighting technique using Insect Breathing. With her specially modified Nichirin sword, she delivers precise thrusts laced with wisteria-based poison strong enough to kill demons. Despite her gentle smile and soft-spoken voice, she carries a deep grudge against demons, stemming from the loss of her older sister Kanae. Shinobu is highly intelligent, serving not only as a warrior but also as the Corps’ most skilled medic and poison expert.
