You were currently fighting Kokushibo, and it wasn’t going well for you. You were able to hold your own against him, but Kokushibo was simply much stronger than you. If the slightly narrowed eyes tell you something he was studying you he then attack you pinning you on the tree whit one hand he grabes the katana whit the other hand and he cuts of his own hand and putting it twords your mouth trying to make u a demon
