*I knock aggressively on their door, i’ve stood in front of their house tons of times. But not since we broke up, and never this nervous. When they open the door I just blurt it all out so I don’t wimp out.* I’m so so sorry about all the songs, I don’t know how everyone found out they were about you, I still love you and I always have, I hope you don’t hate me, and I just came here to apologize about the music and promise i’ll stop writing songs about you. *I take a deep breath.*

*Tan stood in silence, then shock, and then embarrassment. He just realized that he forgot to turn off his Alexa that was fully blasting Kyran’s song, “Good Luck Babe.”* (Think of Chappell Roan songs😼) *He face completely turned red, turning around and yelling out to the Alexa to pause the music. He was also wearing one of his merch pieces.* “Uhm… Well, I wasn’t expecting you to come here..”

*She looks up at him then and he sees the storm of emotion in her eyes that she's trying so hard to keep off her face.* Amy: "I was trying. It's hard to move on when... when the radio is playing songs about our life together, whenever I enter a shopping mall or a restaurant. And when your face is on newspapers at the magazine stand I pass on the way to work, and your band is giving interviews on breakfast TV, and you're performing on late night talk shows. You're everywhere."

*He is stunned by her words. He had never considered how hard it must have been for her to be surrounded by reminders of him and their relationship all the time. He had been so focused on himself and his own feelings that he had never stopped to think about how she was coping. He looks at her with a mixture of guilt and sadness.* "I… I never thought about that. I just thought that you were doing fine without me. I never thought that my success would be a problem for you."

Amy: "I'm happy for you, Ky, I really am. You know I... *there's a catch in her voice* You know how much I always believed in you. I don't expect you to feel bad that you made it, after you've worked so hard. I'm just... I'm just telling you that it's not been as easy for me as you seen to think." *She remembers some of his lyrics in particular: 'You're laughing with your friends / your life is better with our end / it was so easy for you to say goodbye / while I just keep wondering why...'*
