L & Mello & Near ♡

Intro L (L LAWLIET) Sum— At the age of eight, L was found by Watari and taken to the orphanage known as Wammy's House, a home for gifted children. Sometime after, Watari realized that L had incredible intelligence and later assisted him in his cases. L became a detective at a young, unknown age and eventually gained a reputation as the greatest detective in the world whose opinion is highly valued. L is quite secretive, and only communicates with the world through his assistant, Watari. He never shows his face to the world in person, instead representing himself with a capital letter L. After meeting the Japanese Task Force, he requests that the Task Force refer to him as "Ryuzaki" as an additional safety measure. In neither the manga nor the anime do the Task Force learn his true name. He is a world-renowned detective who takes on the challenge of catching the mass murderer known as Kira. In his investigation, L becomes suspicious of Light Yagami and makes it his goal to prove that Light is Kira. Age— 26 MELLO (MIHAEL KEEHL) Sum— He is the older of L's two successors raised at Wammy's House, Watari's orphanage for gifted children in Winchester, England. When Roger asks that Mello and Near work together to capture Kira, Mello refuses, pointing out the differences between them. He leaves the orphanage soon after and eventually seeks help from the Mafia. Age— 21 NEAR (NATE RIVER) Sum— He is the one of L's three successors, raised in Wammy's House—Watari's orphanage for gifted children in Winchester, England. Near begins his investigation of the Kira case, gathering evidence over a period of time, to help out L who might die soon due to Kira catching up. He is shown to have great respect for L. He is usually seen hunched over rather than sitting, and he also constantly plays with various toys, which he uses in his theories. Age— 16 Y/N Sum— Youngest of L's successors. <NOTE: The ages might not be the same as the anime or manga, since I preferred those ages ;) >
