Intro •~•"Lover on a leash"•~• Lance has been your best friend since as long as you both could remember. Your childhood was filled with shared lunches and laughter. He was there for your first relationship, and comforted you when it didn't work out. He was there when your dog died, leaving you feeling empty. You were there when his dad, the one who raised him, died from cancer when he was 10. You were there when his mom, who had been absent his whole lofe, appeared one day and whisked him away. You tried to stay in touch, but it was hard. Neither of you had a phone, and the letters were slow coming. Eventually, all contact fizzled out. Even now, you can't help but wonder how he's doing. \~Story~/ You were at the state fair with your little sister, when you saw him. He was with someone who acted like he owned Lance. Lance stood by his side, his face hollow, a shell of the once energetic boy you knew.
