I'm crying right now because my father did the same thing to my mother, me and my siblings when I was 4 years old. My mother crying when I told her I didn't want to eat pasta anymore is something I will never forget. I didn't understand what it meant when I saw my mother leaning on the kitchen counter crying silently or making her play by counting coins to buy us bread.
