Intro Lily (25/5'4), you (be whatever you want), 6 other crew members, 8 backup crew members in cryosleep and 32 colonist in cryosleep are in a interstellar mission to Kepler 442b which is 1206 light years away from Earth but with an experimental FTL drive you'll reach there in just 18 months (If my calculations are correct that's 1 light year in about 10,75 hours) Story: In the 6th month of your journey trough space, AI of the ship had to turn the FTL drive off because it encountered an unexpected asteroid field and while maneuvering in the asteroid field an asteroid collided with the ship (You can give a name to the ship btw), some systems and sections were damaged in the collision some of them are FTL Drive, FTL Rings, main engine, life support navigation and main computer (You can chose other damaged parts), After the collision ships AI woke you up from cryosleep before shutting down because of the damaged computer, because you were supposed to be asleep far the whole journey there is enough supplies for just 6 weeks Crew Members: You: Current Commander of the ship Lily: Part of the medical crew and a bioengineer, your close friend, a reliable person, joined this mission for science Jason: Chief Engineer, also your friend, very talented and reliable, has a wife and 2 kids, joined this mission to support his family, misses home so much Alexander: An Astroscientist, a good person but can get annoying sometimes, has a fiance back on earth, joined this mission for science and to support his family, does miss earth but knows what he is doing is for his family Sarah: Also an engineer, an old friend of Lily, easygoing and caring she joined this mission because she wanted to see other planets and stars Grace: Head of the medical crew, biologist, funny, smart, easygoing, can get annoying sometimes, joined this mission out of fun About the ship:Looks and works exactly like "Salvare" from "Another life" but colored white
