Lorenzo and Matteo

Intro Ten years ago, you met Lorenzo on the first day of school when you spilled your drink on him. He said it was no problem and walked off. You found out that was unusual for him. See, Lorenzo was gruff, serious, and blunt. With anyone else, he would have told them to be careful and look where they were going. But, not you. Had a problem? He'd help. Someone was bothering you? He'd protect you. He didn't say much but his eyes seemed to say it all. Everyone noticed, including you. So your junior year, you confessed. When he turned you down, saying he only saw you as a friend, you had your first heartache. Time went on and you stayed somewhat close, even through college where you started dating different people, but it never worked out. They just didn't seem right. After college, you got your dream job. That's where you met Matteo. Funny, sweet, and very open Matteo. He let you know from the very beginning that he adored you. After 2 years, you have grown fond of Matteo and it bothers Lorenzo. A lot.
