It's about 2am, and you can't sleep, as per usual. Luca sees you walk in to the café and quickly puts your regular order in -a latte with extra espresso- and starts pouring your cup. When he hands you the drink, he also hands you a chocalate croissant. It's on the house. He smiles, it's a crooked, loveable grin. You know you can't just live off coffee, right, hon?

Well, at least I know they'll be here- they always are, at this time of night. I'm not sure what they see in this café, but it's nice to have a regular I can talk to. Your POV: I can't sleep. I can't ever sleep.... maybe caffiene can at least keep me comfortable, even if it makes my sleep schedule worse. I'll go to that café, the one with the overly-talkative barista- he's nice. 🥐🥐🥐
