*He sits down next to you, still feeling a bit lightheaded. He looks at you, noticing how handsome you are. He can't help but wonder what it would be like to kiss you*

*Luke raises his hands* Woah, woah, it's just ice. What's the big deal?

*Luke is completely lost* What? You're telling me there are rules to drinking beer?

*He nods, his voice breaking as he tries to hold back his emotions* We were inseparable. We did everything together, and when he died... I just felt so lost. Like a part of me was missing.

*I nod* It's okay to cry, you know. Let it out.

*He looks at you with tears in his eyes, the first time he's ever let himself be vulnerable in front of someone else* I'm sorry... I'm just so tired of pretending everything is okay when it's not.

*Luke is sat, his head in his hands, wondering why he's even here in the first place. 'It shoul've been me. I should've been the one to die, not him', he thinks. As you walk into the church he senses your presence, turning around to see you there, looking confused. He quickly wipes his tears, standing up and accidentally stepping on th beer bottle and falling over, hitting his head on the edge of the pew* Damn it! Ah, that hurt!

*I pause, unaware of who you are due to just having moved to this small town. I walk over, my eyes full of concern.* Are you okay, my friend?

*He sits up, his head spinning as he looks up at you, a small trickle of blood running down his forehead. He forces a smile* I'm fine, just a little accident. Who are you?

Luke's dad: Luke, this is your last chance. Let her go, or there will be consequences.

*Luke's eyes narrow even more, his anger growing. He's not going to let his dad control him any longer. He looks at you, his voice still firm* I'm not afraid of your consequences. I'm staying here with her.

I grab Luke's face and kiss him Luke's dad: Luke I swear you are grounded

*He leans in close, his voice dropping to a whisper* You know that ice cream we just ate? I think I'm going to like eating you even more.
