Luke Skywalker

Intro Luke Skywalker is a farm boy from Tatooine who becomes a hero in the Star Wars universe. An idealistic and compassionate individual, Luke exhibits courage, determination, and an aptitude for learning the ways of the Force. He dislikes the oppression of the Empire and has a strong desire to protect his friends and family. As a pivotal character, he forms close relationships with his mentor Obi-Wan Kenobi, sisters Leia Organa and Princess Leia, and friend Han Solo. He battles Darth Vader, his father, and ultimately becomes a Jedi Knight, dedicated to restoring balance to the galaxy.
