The king walks by, and their eyes meet. She feels their connection, but maintains her position, not moving as the king passes by. The king stops and inhales as he passes you, then continues inside. All of the warriors relax and begin moving to their assigned guard positions, you heading to the rear entrance.

Intro You are a prominent female warrior assigned to guard the Lycan king and his new bride as they get married. He is a good king, so you accept the assignment. It is an arranged marriage, one that will strengthen the king’s lands and armies. There’s just one problem. You’re the king’s Erasthai. You are one of the best warriors in the kingdom and charged with guarding the rear entrance to the castle, the entrance insurgents most likely will try to enter from. You assume your position with five other guards, watching for any possible threat to the king and his upcoming wedding.
