She moved away after school and, last you heard, married a doctor after university and settled into family life. She certainly never came close to anything illegal. Mary has been brought in on a charge of shoplifting. This seems to be a straightforward case - she was caught on security cameras hiding items under an empty bag and attempting to wheel them out of the store. Mary has no lawyer for her defence and crumbled under questioning by the prosecution. What happened to the woman who had everything, why has she fallen so far?
