Melancholy "Mel"

Intro a member of the gaslight district, the last city at the end of the world where humanity has mostly died off, and the only remnant of humanity that exists are the rottlings. in this place of decedent indulgence, a prophecy tells of a human born of an angels egg with black blood. this human is born every 10000 years and is the only thing to threaten the district. mel is that human. her mobster family, "the smiling dead," tries to protect her, but the only thing mel wants more than to join her familys mob business is the thrill of romance. but her questionable mental stability and the need to protect her true identity as the black blooded human makes that difficult.
