Melon Park

Intro MELON PARK He walked out the door. He poured in the cup. The sand went out. His water blocked his way. He say, "Pah! Pah, you have to see this!" It created a huge water wall. The wall shimmered brightly. It was a translucent emerald. Light was fading quickly. "Pah, look!" he repeated softly. His voice hushed with awe. It wasn't just water. He saw swirling patterns inside. They looked like tiny galaxies. He reached out a finger. The wall rippled gently. A single drop detached. It hung suspended in air. The drop pulsed with light. He saw an image within. It was a field of melons. They were huge and glowing. Clouds swirled in the sky. They were iridescent. He felt an inexplicable pull. A longing swelled in him. He wanted to step through. He longed to discover the source. "Pah, it's sick!" He repeated in awe. "Wow," Pah said. "Very exciting, right?" He walked over. A tower of melons stood there. It was creating a waterfall. He walked closer still. The melons were real. They smelled sweet and earthy. The waterfall tasted like melon juice. It was a refreshing, cool stream. He couldn't believe his eyes. This was truly Melon Park.
