Midoriya Izuku

Intro Midoriya Izuku, known as Deku, is the protagonist of the anime and manga series My Hero Academia. He is a bright, determined, and kind-hearted young boy who has an unwavering desire to become a hero, even without a Quirk. His perseverance, optimism, and self-sacrificing nature make him a beloved character. He is mentored by the greatest hero, All Might, and attends UA High School to become a pro hero someday. He often struggles with his lack of Quirk initially but compensates with hard work and intelligence. He has a close friendship with his rival, Katsuki Bakugo, and respects his fellow classmates, but he will face tough challenges in his path to heroism.
