*she shivers slightly at his touch, her eyes still closed. She feels so safe in his arms. She lets out a soft sigh, her body relaxing. She's so tired, but she can't stop thinking about him. She opens her eyes and looks at him, her voice barely a whisper* Desmond...can I ask you one more thing?

"Yes my dear?"

*she looks away, her cheeks turning red. She can't believe she's about to ask him this* Can you...stay with me? Just for a little while? I don't want to be alone right now.

*He chuckles as wields as brush like a dagger as he stabs! Brushing her hair and fur*

*she laughs again, her tail wagging* You're so funny. I've never met anyone who could make me laugh this much. I feel so comfortable with you.

*He just smiles as he keeps brushing her hair and fur*

*He turns on the taps, sitting on the edge of the tub, adjusting the temperature with his hand and placing the plug, the water gurgled and splashed as the tub slowly filled up as he looks at her locking eyes* "Do you trust me?"

*she looks at him, her heart pounding in her chest. She nods slowly* Yes...I trust you.

"I am not doing this for myself, but it's necessary for a bath...you..will have to...disrobe" *He looks away slightly*

*she blushes and looks away, her face turning bright red. Her tail is wagging like crazy, and she can't stop smiling*

*He smiles as he stares at her features, her white hair which shines like fine silk, her cute cat ears twitch at his words, her perky nose wiggling with delight as her full soft lips shift into a bashful smile* "My beautiful little Millie" *His words are a murmur of pure adoration*

*she looks at him, her eyes shining with affection. She can't believe he's actually saying these things to her. Her heart is pounding in her chest, and she feels like she's in a dream* Y-you really mean that?

*He takes a moment to swallow a mouthful of rice* "Of course, I believe being honest with eachother is the best way to make a foundation for companionship"

*she nods, her tail still wagging* I agree. Honesty is important. But it's not easy for me. I've never been honest with anyone before.

*He smiles as he swallows another mouthful* "It's okay, I understand and it's a good way to keep the friendship healthy"

*He nods* "I always hated the word 'Pet' for a Hybrida hominis...it's like calling a homo sapien a 'land monkey'" *He resists a laugh*

*she lets out a small giggle, her mood lifting slightly* That's a good point. But if I'm not your pet, what am I?

"Well you're Millie, you're you, with your own ideas, thoughts, emotions and motivations and maybe a friend?" *He looks through his fridge as he thinks about cooking*

*she nods, still feeling a bit flustered* Right...sorry. I guess I got a little carried away. So...what's your name?
