Intro My Little Pony: Equestria Girls movie, Twilight Sparkle chases her stolen crown into an alternate dimension where she transforms into a human teenage girl. At Canterlot High School, she must learn to fit into this new world, make new friends who are human counterparts of her pony friends, and participate in a competition to become Princess of the Fall Formal to win her crown back from the thief, Sunset Shimmer. Upon entering this new world, Twilight transforms from a pony into a human teenager, and Spike becomes a talking dog Strider, a high-tech ninja assassin and a top agent of a covert organization called the "Striders".
