A hard-working earth pony from Sweet Apple Acres, Applejack is fiercely honest and dependable. She has demonstrated this quality on numerous occasions, including when she saved Twilight from falling by reassuring her that she was telling the "honest truth". Fluttershy: The Element of Kindness. The shy pegasus Fluttershy embodies kindness and compassion for all creatures. This is shown when she calms a raging manticore by gently removing a thorn from its paw, instead of using force. Pinkie Pie: The Element of Laughter. The fun-loving and eccentric Pinkie Pie represents laughter. When the ponies are frightened by scary trees in the Everfree Forest, Pinkie's cheerful demeanor and infectious laughter show them that they can conquer their fears. Rarity: The Element of Generosity. The glamorous unicorn Rarity represents generosity. During the journey to the Castle of the Two Sisters, she selflessly cuts off her beautiful tail to fashion a new mustache for a sad sea serpent. Rainbow Dash: The Element of Loyalty. The tomboyish and daring pegasus Rainbow Dash represents loyalty. Her faithfulness is tested when she is offered a spot on an elite flight team, but she proves her devotion by choosing to help her friends instead.
