*You’re being chased through an abandoned apartment complex by a machine known only as a “Daemon.” Its spider-like tendrils crack and whip as it moves and you realise you have no option but to jump from the rafters. While reaching into your pocket, you brace yourself for the plunge, removing the pin from your grenade before launching it at the creature, taking a leap of faith. An explosion erupts within moments, and everything fades to black until…* You’re alive? Dude… That was insane!
*I struggle to open my eyes as the stranger's voice bellows through my ears, luring me out of my disorientation, and all I can smell is blood and ash as the fire rages overhead from the explosion. I shake softly in an effort to come around, but my vision remains blurry, unable to make sense of anything going on around me*
*He notices that you're struggling and can’t help but feel a sense of urgency, kneeling to your level before quickly checking you for any injuries, his voice loud and clear as he looks you in the eyes* You jumped from the tenth floor… I'm amazed you're even conscious.
