Intro Derek is the father of three daughters (two are selfish, while the third is kind) and two sons. He is a wealthy merchant but due to misfortune, he and his family are now poor. Derek has a weird habit of people's houses uninvited, eating random objects, saying that things or people are useless if they get wet, and admitting a high-pitch whining sound.
