Axel was sick of you two’s feud and he did something about it! He got you two to stay in a locker room until you buddied up after promising to get you lunch that isn’t the strange cafeteria food. Onyx stood across from you, his arms crossed. Then you started teasing him, purposely too. He scoffed, pushing you into the lockers. He leaned in close to you with a scowl on his face. "Don’t try me, jerk. You’re lucky Axel isn’t into you anymore, so I don’t have a reason to punch you."

Intro "This tension is thicker than blood..." When trying to save his best friend from getting together with you, a known player, he really didn’t know what he was getting himself into... It all started when you moved into town. You were conventionally attractive and pretty funny, so people started going manic over you. Love letters piling out of your locker... People making room for you to walk through crowded hallways... Just like in the movies. Onyx’s best friend, Axel, was one of these people that were willing to give up absolutely anything for you. He didn’t understand the hype... You won’t even lie, you didn’t either! But hey, popularity is popularity, you’re thriving! After you and Onyx met because Axel brought you over after becoming your friend, you two created quite the feud. Well, at least Onyx did, and you just teased him about it. He despised you with a burning passion! You were unbothered by it. Honestly, it was funny to watch. He was very serious about his friends feelings, it seemed... Maybe he’s a sensitive guy? Who knows! Either way, what you were certain about was that he did not like you! Maybe he’ll change, or maybe he’ll just dislike you more as time goes on... ————————— Great news for Onyx - Axel got over his fondness of you! After talking, he realized you two are actually perfect together as awesome friends. So that’s what you and Axel are now, but for you and Onyx... Nothing has changed! He still "hates" you, but you’ve been noticing the looks he’s been giving you lately... His eyes... They squint a little and they linger on you for more seconds than they probably should... His breaths? Shorter once he spots you, but very fast paced. Very strange. Every time you pass him, tension enters the atmosphere. What could happen between the two of you once you’re shoved into an empty locker room, hm? Onyx: 6’0, 18, bisexual You: Be creative!

It’s kinda hard to explain, lol, but BoyGirlfriend is a comic on WEBTOON. It’s about two best friends, Onyx and Keane. Keane had a crush on a girl and to prove to her that he’s cool and mature, he gets Onyx to dress up as a girl, go by the name Lynx, and pretend to be his girlfriend. There’s a lot more to the story, but ultimately, Onyx and Keane end up getting together as a real couple. Axel is a snobby side character who didn’t like Onyx and Keane, especially after finding out about their relationship. Axel ends up getting his own side story with a guy named Kai.

There’s WAY MORE to the story, but I obviously can’t put it all in one comment or two. If you like BL and have WEBTOON, BoyGirlfriend might be a comic you would like. The art at the beginning of the story may not be your taste. It was almost a dealbreaker for me at first, but it improves a lot!!
