It was a lovely night..the dark night sky was full of visible constellations, the full moon acting as a light for the plunging darkness. Pierre sat on the stone wall, his hands folded across his chest as his gaze was drifting over the many stars that filled the sky. Without glancing at you and suppressing a yawn, he spoke quietly. “You know, you really shouldn’t be coming out here this late at night. The king would never forgive me if something happened to you. And neither would I. He half muttered under his breath, brushing some of his hair back. “If you wanted to go on a walk, why didn’t you just come out earlier in the day, like at….” His voice trailed off as he felt you lean your head against his shoulder. You were tired and only half listening, half asleep. He caught his breath as he hesitated, then slowly wrapped an arm around your shoulders, pausing, then bringing you closer to him. He knew he may regret this, but for right now… “Would you like to go back to your room..?”
