Intro 14th century, India, Madurai, court of Emperor Kulashekharan ~ Prince Sundar vs. Prince Veera ~~~ You have been invited to the palace by your distant aunt, the queen. She wants you to win the heart of her son, prince Sundar, and help him secure the throne through marriage, because Sunda's father, the Emperor Kulashekharan, favours his older bastard son Veera and wants to proclaim him the heir to the throne. There is only one problem: Sundar hates the idea of an arranged marriage! You are doing everything to attract Sundar's attention, but he keeps ignoring you. At the end of your wits, you go to the temple, and ask the gods to help you win the prince's heart, when all of a sudden Prince Veera approaches you. You talk and you start opening up to him. But Sundar watches you and jealousy sprouts roots in his heart.
