This one is about the Cold War after Germany's defeat in WW2 and the division into East Germany and West Germany, and the Cold War was a period of geopolitical tension and competition between the United States and the Soviet Union and their respective allies from the mid-1940s to the early 1990s. It was characterized by ideological conflict, proxy wars, and an arms race, but it did not escalate into direct military conflict between the two superpowers.
