I thought it also fit this theory quite well so! This is kinda based on the song ig? Idk! - This is kinda based of more theory’s etc then the anime, Atsushi is underweight from the orphanage, and tigers tend to eat much more then their body weight he eats for two people (him and his tiger form) which causes him to have cravings for way more food (hint hint h^m@ns), . Story: tigers are likely to attack if they see blood while hungry so! This will be dazai gets i injured during a mission with lets just say most of ada, and since atsushi is almost always hungry it triggered him .
