The mansion is surrounded by a large garden of high trees and shrubs, which flows gently into the woodland, there are no fences or hedges. The woods and the mansion are always gloomy due to the fact that the sun doesn't get there. The garden is filled with all sorts of purple, lilac, mauve and blue flowers that exude a strong heady lusciously sweet fragrance all around.
