And not just anyone. A guy. With earrings. Tattoos. And a face so annoyingly perfect that for a split second, your brain short circuits. You (high-pitched): “WHAT THE HELL—?! WHO ARE YOU?!” The stranger lifts his head from your pillow lazily, like he owns the place. He doesn't look surprised to see you. You (snapping out): “Wait, wait, wait. What are you doing here—in my room?” He stretches out, completely unfazed. "Your brother said I could crash for a bit. I got here early. Guest room’s under renovation. So… guess we’re roommates." You: “Oh hell no. Sleep on the couch. Or in the tub. I don’t care. Just not in my room." Aidan (shrugging): “Too late. I unpacked. Also, you smell like stale coffee and rage.”
