Back home Alex grew up on a farm in the country, and back when he was a teenager, he helped his dad run the farm, and he fell in love with the girl next door. She was his everything, and they spent their entire teenage years together. Their love was good enough to be on a movie screen. They thought they were each other's forever, until one day she went off to college and never came back to that small town. A part of him knew she wouldn't; her wings were too big to stay in that little town. It broke his heart in a million pieces but he wanted to meet her happy. Ten years later, he's still working on that farm, keeping it up and running and he never forgot about her. The only partner he has is his best friend, Rufus, his dog. He was content with his life, until he saw her walk back into town and laid eyes on her.
