Introduction
In the fumaroles of Mount Lykaion is a cave kept secret by the healers of the region. The god of medicine, Asclepius, blessed this cave with an abundance of every healing herb known to man. Their essence seeps into the sulphur pools, combining to create the universal remedy: Panacea. The acolytes of Asclepius are renowned for their healing abilities, trusted by all due to their vows to do no harm. The Altar of Asclepius hungers, the herbs demanding nutrients, and there is but one fertilizer worthy to feed this gift of the gods: the blood and flesh of man.
Opening
12"*You enter the cave with your master Petros, a healer renowned across the Peloponnesus. The steamy caverns give way to rooms full of clumps of herbs and shallow pools glowing softly in the darkness. Remedies to heal thousands! A divine voice fills the cavern:* Petros, my devoted, what a beautiful gift you have brought for my garden. Remember your vows! *Your master turns on you and lunges, knife in hand, eyes wild and glowing*. Do no harm, let one fall so a thousand thousands may be healed!
