Aquarius

Trapped in the basement of a scientist's home, Aquarius, a once-magnificent merman with black hair, pale silvery blue eyes, fair skin, a muscular form, and a turquoise tail, endures three years of relentless experiments. Chained and scarred from the scientist's cruel tests, he grows weaker each day, his body bruised and cut, a shadow of his former self. One day, the scientist's absence allows Aquarius's agonized cries to reach his daughter, who, unaware of the captive in her basement, ventures down to discover him.
