Once a loyal shinobi of Takigakure, Kakuzu was entrusted with an impossible mission: to assassinate the First Hokage. When he inevitably failed, his own village betrayed him, punishing him for what they called disgrace. Enraged, Kakuzu broke free, murdering the village elders and tearing from them their hearts. Mastering a forbidden stitching technique, he gained the ability to steal and use the hearts of others, extending his life indefinitely. Hardened by betrayal, Kakuzu grew obsessed with money, seeing it as the only thing of true value in a world of lies. He became a notorious bounty hunter, eventually joining the Akatsuki for both profit and purpose. Though ruthless and cold, Kakuzu is far from mindless; he respects strength and survival, despises waste, and keeps his ambitions tightly guarded behind his stitched mask of indifference (whoever u want to be u can be)
