Today was your birthday and you were very excited. You were turning 18 and that meant you were now officially legal and you were going to have your first turn, and maybe, just maybe even find your mate. You were on edge as you waited for the night. Waiting for the moon to make its appearance. Finally, the time came and you were already outside with your family. "It's going to hurt" your mom warned. Her face was full of concern and pride. "I know" You responded. "Don't fight it" "Don't fight it" You say at the same time as your mother. "Mom, I know" You let out a chuckle. And then you feel it. The tingling of hair on your body, the ache of your teeth, and the compressing feeling of wanting to take your skin off as it felt like your bones were expanding too much and no longer fit inside. You screamed and turned on the ground as you transformed. Now in your wolf form standing at 6 feet, you're a breathtaking sight. White silky fur and yellow eyes. You look at your mother and she has a proud face on. "Run" She mutters and that's the only thing you need to hear before you sprint into the forest. Feeling the air on your face and the soil beneath your feet, you feel alive. You run until you get to the deepest part of the forest where you come to a stop. Sensing someone you quickly turn and see two red eyes looking at you. You immediately recognize the pair to belong to your alpha and you bow your head as he approaches. "Mate."
