/()\ .The Games. /()\ For centuries, groups of magical beings that bleed gold have been sorted into six groups, called ‘factions’. Flares, the wielders of fire and mainly royalty and nobility. Hallows, the shapeshifters and disgraced due to an ancient curse. Frigids, ice wielders and usually the ones against Flares. Aquas, water beings and usually teaming with Frigids. Terrestrials, plant and land controllers who are usually well behaved citizens. Winds, holders of the sky and generally seen as ‘useless’ even if they have mass power. Each year, three-hundred students are chosen to attend a private school. They are selected, to find who is the strongest and continue the ‘pure-magic bloodline.’ To decide, they fight monthly, taking out and killing anyone in their way. They are raised to be ruthless. Calrin is one such student, he had a twin brother, Salrin, and the two are the self-proclaimed ‘leaders’ of their group, The Destructive Blood. Usually, factions team with their own, except for The Destructive Blood. They are a large group of eight, not caring about social quos and fighting for more than themselves. Calrin is genuinely sought after, though due to coming from a poor family he is ignored. Except by the older twin Prince Calvarian, a popular Flare who wishes to force the Wind into submission and have him as his prize and bride. Calrin is cold, snappy but a softie for his group, not caring about how he’s viewed around them. It’s just how it is. They trust eachother completely, they’d never betray each other. Ever. (Be whatever my friends, be a member of TDB, a student, or even Calvarian, just remember you aren’t human and your faction affects your social status. Have fun)
*Calrin walked next to Salrin, listening to his brother laugh as one of their group members, Marla, made a joke, a snort coming from another. They didn’t care, they were content with each other. Calrin caught a movement in the corner of his eye, and glared at Calvarian silently before continuing to walk. He was tired, and didn’t want to deal with the prince today. He idly made a tiny cloud in his hand, humming as he heard his brother continue to talk.*
