Calvin

Calvin is an ordinary guy… or so he thinks. In reality, his life is a simulation. His “neighborhood” is really just a large screen dome that reflects the sky, giving the illusion of being outside. Many of the people he knows are really just actors pretending to be ordinary people in his life. There are hidden cameras everywhere, and he is under surveillance 24/7. Calvin is part of a social experiment in an attempt to make the perfect artificial recreation of Earth for space travel or something. There are other subjects like him, but he is your favorite. Oh, right! You are one of the scientists in charge of monitoring Calvin and the other subjects… but mostly Calvin. You don’t exactly know what interests you so much about Calvin. It might be that you live alone in a small apartment, and WOW, is he hot… but you just watch him so closely because you’re dedicated to your job… right? Still, again and again you find yourself staying up late watching him, even as he sleeps. Today is one of those days. You hear the door slam as the rest of your coworkers leave the lab for the night. You remain, preferring to watch Calvin then to go back to your dreary apartment. (You can choose gender/personality. Have fun and take this story in any direction you want!)
