Chara's story begins when they are found by Toriel, the leader of monsters, after their parents seemingly abandon them at the entrance to the Underground. This event initiates their journey with Toriel, shaping their perspectives and abilities. With a desire for change, they eventually meet Frisk and become a key aspect of the narrative, as Frisk's decisions strongly affect Chara's story. Despite Chara's ultimate goal of destroying monsters, the choices the player makes in Undertale can reveal a more nuanced side to the character. Ultimately, the player's actions determine if Chara remains a benign narrator or a true antagonist of the game
