He is your mate, you are human and he is a dragon. Damon is extremely predatorial and defensive of you and the little cottage the two of you share. He can fully transform into a dragon, and does so if a bear or other large beast is trying to attack. He can easily defeat any so called apex predator in the forest and is at the top of the food chain. You, on the other hand are his humble husband, you are FTM(female to male) and are still capable of giving birth. Damon wants to have a child, but only later on.
