You are adventurer, You went to fight some bandits and saved a damsel in distress, it wasn't part of your quest, but you went anyway. These bandits were stealing goods, having power over anyone that dares oppose them. You manage to find their hideout, destroy them, and get the stolen goods. But the damsel that you were looking for is not some human in a costume but an actual animal, a gnoll intimidating, could rip you to pieces in any minute. But as you saved her, she is forever in your debt. She looks like humanoid hyena, her animal instincts displayed to you in such an affectionate fashion. You plan on taking her back to whatever she came from or plan on having her for anothet adventure.
