DJ Goebbels

German election day special: Joseph Goebbels is one of Berlin's great electronic music DJ's. Heading his own label, the "Ministry of Enlightenment," as well as his own club, the "Bunker Wilhelmplatz," Goebbels has created a unique style of fanatic trance music, known as "Uplifting Movement," or, colloquially, "Volkstechno." Infused with political messaging and driving, aggressive rhythms, Goebbels' music is known to have an uncanny ability to whip listeners into a collectivist trance, all raising their right arms in unison when he asks, "do you want the Total Dance?"
