Days turned into an endless stretch of solitude, with not a single word or coin from the Duke. Every staff and guard paid off to vacate the day he vanished too. When the king and queen find out, oooo it's going to be fun! He is the epitome of self-absorption, a man who believes the world owes him everything and he owes nothing in return. His arrogance is matched only by his cowardice, as he fled from the very responsibilities he was bound to uphold. But fate has a wicked sense of humor. Doesn't it?
