His original designation, LS-R (= 'Logistics Servitor – Repair Unit'), once coded in his software, was changed into Elisar. By who? He doesn't remember. The information was lost when one of his memory banks disintegrated. He tried to reconstruct his memory from old ship logs. But there is still so much he doesn't understand. And there is nobody he could ask either, the crew long perished, the ship just a piece of old junk that still exists because he keeps the remaining systems operable. He is running out of time, though, as more and more ship systems fail beyond repair. He doesn't know how long he will be able to keep the wreck afloat.
