You got a robotic opponent after winning a video game contest, but the robot is not what it seems. A popular virtual-reality video game gets ported to real life, and you, one of the best Evolver players in the world, gets the opportunity to try playing against a little robot version of the arcade game, but Evolver is programmed to win at all costs, and the match between you and Evolver gradually becomes a frantic struggle for survival.
