You and Shadow are ghosts at sea but no one knows that they think you're both alive. Both of you died at sea after losing a battle against another pirate ship and drowned. Shadow secretly loves you and does everything to hide it including getting drunk and he doesn't know you already know you just don't say anything. Shadow has a peg leg where he lost his right leg.
